He’s the first to admit he maybe doesn’t have the right numbers for the right people in his phonebook to get him a foot in the door. It’s a second chance the 46-year-old wishes he’d only been afforded by a string of other clubs. So his return to Leith in a new scouting role is an opportunity to make amends to those he feels he let down back in 1998 when he rushed off to seal his £300,000 switch to Derby County. The manner of his sudden departure has long troubled the former Hibs legend, with the gnawing regret over the fact he did not get the chance to bid farewell to the fans who had supported him through six years of thick and thin. Twenty-four years on from the day he slipped out of Easter Road with barely a word of goodbye, Kevin Harper is grateful to be back where it all began.

From the way that I see things, it mostly seems to be that Winamp is broken and that's the core of the problem. I was also impressed to see that as of 5.0 iTunes finally updated their implementation to support ID3v2.4 (and as such UTF-8). Funda, yes, most Wiindows applications support ID3v2, as was said earlier, that includes WMP, Foobar 2000, iTunes, etc. This confused me at first too as at a quick glance one looks like a transliteration of the other.) In ideal world with ideal standards that might be fine, but ID3 always was lousy. What I see for now is more like "Let's close our eyes and don't look at cruel non-standard-compliant world". Add ~/.tagrc file support with "ID3v1_8bit_encoding = " and "ID3v2_8bit_encoding = ", again unoverrideable by app (but overrideable if app use custom StringHandler, as it probably know what is it doing. Possible solution to all this topic: Add recoding string handler into taglib itself (as a regular subclass to StringHandler), and make it be able to recode both ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags. Without this, taglib is not i18n-compliant (at all). Possible solution to latter problem: Make ~/.tagrc file support, where you can say "ID3v2 encoding = UTF16" and force UTF16, or "ID3v2 encoding = intag" and force in-tag encoding field to be used, UNOVERRIDABLE by apps. This cause: 1) latin alphabet people see their latin1 tags even in mistagged files 2) everyone else have 0% chance to see their tags correctly, because most software is written by latin alphabet people and they would likely force latin1 here, which cause every non-latin tag to break. It have got an ID3v2 'default encoding' option, which overrides id3v2 tags' encoding field. Please, please, don't tell me about standards. This was shown when Héctor, despite their differing skeletal structures and his declining condition, furiously attacked him after realizing Ernesto's hand in his death and later fleeing confrontation with an angered Rivera family, calling his security guards for these instances. ![]() When his actions were revealed and his former fans turned on him, Ernesto could only be silently distraught to realize he had lost everything he worked for as he was condemned for his vile nature.Įrnesto was also, in contrast to his suave appearance and daring movie roles, a filthy coward. As such, he is a dark parallel to Héctor and of what Miguel might have become if he had followed Ernesto's path. While Miguel, Héctor, and Imelda had great passions for music and (despite their flaws from them) stronger values in family, de la Cruz had none of these qualities only using music to gain popularity and willing to kill or use those he had close relationships with to get it. Even Miguel, a boy who greatly idolized him and was supposedly his own blood, was seen as a liability to the extent that he would resort to murdering the child to hide his secret, with no remorse whatsoever for his heinous acts staring coldly after Miguel when he sent him falling to his death and nonchalantly passing off the grief the action had on the late Rivera family while giving the helpless Héctor (Miguel's true ancestor) a cruel apology. While Ernesto himself isn't directly based off a real singer, Benjamin Bratt was heavily inspired in his performance by watching the work of Pedro Infante and Jorge Negrete, who are both legendarily Mexican singers and actors. Leaving behind a profound legacy after his death, Ernesto was determined to maintain this and was willing to go to malicious lengths (his murders even more darker after he died) to keep his image alive. Ernesto De La Cruz feels so well fleshed out that fans might be wondering if he has any real-life inspirations. He was even arrogant enough to hide this secret in one of his films, which led to his exposure and eventual downfall. His ambition drove him to murdering his best friend Héctor, who wanted to go home to his family, and subsequently steal his songbook and guitar to achieve fame and glory. Ernesto was actually selfish and desperate in life to the point of being a rank opportunist. While he may seem as a charming and charismatic man, Ernesto de la Cruz is deep down bitter, cruel, and a downright sociopath. The experts conclude that instead of managing regulation for PFAS one by one, a class-based approach would be much more efficient and health-protective. The researchers highlight that their database features “dozens of studies, in humans, animals and in vitro, have been conducted on many purportedly ‘safer’ PFAS.” Of all PFAS chemicals, the most detected substance in over 90% of people studied in the US has been perfluorononanoic acid (PFNA, CAS 375-95-1). ![]() Through a systematic analysis of available literature, the researchers found 742 studies for 29 selected PFAS measured in the environment or in people. The authors also write that the database “pushes back on industry’s deny, delay, and distract tactics by organizing the hundreds of peer-reviewed studies that have been conducted on PFAS beyond PFOA and PFOS, thereby making it harder to deny health impacts and delay health-protective actions by continuing to call for more research.” ![]() The new tool will enable legislators, scientists, and the public to stay informed of the growing scientific literature on the toxicity and health effects of these substances. The PFAS-Tox Database was built by a collaborative group of scientists from universities and NGOs to collect and organize available toxicological research data, especially for the PFAS suggested as replacements for problematic legacy compounds such as perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA CAS 335-67-1) and perfluorooctanesulfonate (PFOS CAS ). For each study, it provides the full citations, abstracts, and study details, including exposure concentrations and measured outcomes. The database includes human, animal, and in vitro studies and organizes them into 15 health outcome categories. In a press statement from April 20, 2021, the civil society organization Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) announced the release of the PFAS-Tox Database, which catalogs all publicly available toxicology studies on a set of 29 per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) published through May 2019. but what the flip did I just watch? Why did yall waste the massive potential you had with this? … Expand Conclusion: A very cool looking film with beautiful and eye-catching surroundings, a loveable bond between the main characters with 2 of them being standouts in my film mind, great and badass action the movie could have been great if the story wasn't so mediocre. I really like this world and the potential of it however just like the first Purge it wasn't used very good and could have been used so much better. The story, however, falls pretty short and ultimately elevates to the state of ridiculousness and feels like too much. Some of the most awesome bloody violence in animation(of what I've seen). There's the violence I don't like but there's violence such as this movie where it fits and is used in a matter of understatement and I thought it was hella cool. One of the most notable aspects of the movie is the use of MUCH brutal violence, yes it's too much at times but I was genuinely impressed. It's kinda sad how she never connected to her past memory. Holly is badass, cute/pretty and has a more mature/experienced personality but don't forget that she's still a young girl and has past trauma and then there's Gena with her amazing hair and strict and badass style but like everyone else, she has her soft side and a past memory that can trigger her to snap out of her hard shell. Takeshi were my least favourite, a stubborn and a bit uninteresting man with a low tone which is not an unusual thing, heck I'm like that at many times but still there wasn't that much to root for in him however it's the two female's who impressed me. It's the bond between the three main characters that I loved. The main theme about the Yakuza didn't interest me that much and the members were all so so. Into this world comes Takeshi Kovacs (Joel Kinnaman), the last member of an elite military rebel group known as Envoys, who has been disembodied for over 200 years. The rub is that only the top wealthy elite can afford such immortality, making them the perennial ruling class, living high above the dystopian world in extravagant colonies above the clouds.
